We drink a lot of beer in Wisconsin.
We also watch a lot of sports in Wisconsin.
That means beer and snacks, but the snacks don’t have to be unhealthy!

One of our favorite finger/snack foods to eat while watching sports is chicken wings.
They are often deep fried and fatty, but these Low Point Chicken Wings will blow your mind!
They taste so much like regular naughty chicken wings but have a fraction of the fat and calories!
One thing I miss while on this diet is naughty food like wings (who doesn’t miss junk food on a diet?).
Not a diet, a lifestyle, right?
I guess chicken wings aren’t the worst form of junk food, but if they are fried, they certainly aren’t low calorie.
I’m a lover of most things spicy, so chicken wings have been a favorite of mine for quite some time.
I will get a random chicken wing attack as soon as the weather starts to get colder and football starts.
Pre-marriage and pre-baby, my husband and I would head to our favorite pub and grill and stuff our face with chicken wings while watching the Packers (or the Redskins, if it was on, he’s a die hard Redskins fan).
Man, I miss those days!
This Low Point Chicken Wings recipe is so easy and quick.
I have to say…they are just like the real thing!
The taste is so good and the chicken is fall off the bone lovely.
I didn’t miss the fact that they aren’t fried!
They are moist and delicious!
The recipe is so easy, just bake them for a few minutes and throw them in the slow cooker and smell the deliciousness until they’re done!
You still get the sticky, messy, delicious wings just like you would at any bar or restaurant.
What’s wonderful is that they are easy to make right at home.
These wings are made with hot wing sauce, but you can easily change up the flavor sauce as long as you remember to count the points.
Wings are such a comfort food in our household.
My husband loves wings but is also trying to eat better.
He loves these wings.
Any time he approves of any of my Weight Watchers™ recipes I get excited because he is known to turn up his nose to “diet” food.
These wings prove that eating healthy doesn’t have to be boring!
I personally love the smell that fills up the house as I’m making these.
Smells are really powerful and knowing that what’s smelling so delicious IS actually so delicious and healthy it makes me giddy.
Yay!
Just writing this post is making me crave them again.
You will not be disappointed and you will feel so satisfied.
The point value on these is so low, you can’t go wrong!
Low Point Chicken Wings
Ingredients:
Cooking Spray (I used Pam)
3 pounds of skinned chicken wings
1/4 tsp of freshly ground black pepper
3/4 cup of this sauce
2 TSP apple cider vinegar
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 cloves of garlic, minced
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Line a cookie sheet with foil, coat the foil with cooking spray so the wings don’t stick.
Place the wings on the cookie sheet, season with pepper.
Spray the chicken wings lightly with cooking spray.
Bake wings at 450 degrees, uncovered, for 7 minutes or until lightly browned.
Spray slow cooker with cooking spray.
Mix hot sauce with the garlic, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce in the slow cooker.
Remove chicken wings from the oven and move to the slow cooker after draining them on paper towels.
Toss the wings to coat them with the sauce mixture.
Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or until the chicken is very tender.

There you have it!
Delicious and healthy, guilt free chicken wings!
Serve with your favorite dip, such as light blue cheese or ranch.
I also cut up some celery and served it with these wings, which was the perfect compliment to the heat.
I recommend eating them with a nice, cold, frothy beer as well! (But they are still delicious if you decide to have milk instead)
Happy eating and finger licking!

Hi Sharon! If you can't find them at the store, you can buy regular ones and remove the skin yourself. I found mine at our local grocer. Sometimes if you request certain things to management, they will order them for you and have them in stock! Thanks for stopping by!

I will try this with boneless skinless chicken breasts. I think I will cut into bites, kinda like boneless wings. Would be great on top of a salad.

I'm sure you can! Boneless, skinless chicken breast is 0 points, so that would be worth a try! Let me know how it turns out! Thanks for stopping by! Carissa
