I hope you all had a fantastic Valentine’s Day!
I spent mine at the dentist’s office.
Long story, but all is okay in my mouth.
Do you know what’s not okay in my mouth lately?
The abundance of zero-point foods I’ve been eating.
I’m even getting sick of grapes.
I’ve hit a plateau and I’m not losing much weight anymore.
I’m just sick of the same foods, every single day.
I’ve tried a few different things, but to be honest, after over a year of counting points, I’m losing my counting mojo.
I’ve found myself forgetting to track and mindlessly eating a bit.
Mainly because I eat a lot of the same foods every day.
I do try to switch it up, but nothing has been working lately.
The past two weeks, I have felt so incredibly tired, and maybe that’s why I’ve lost my motivation.
I’ve felt sluggish.
I’ve felt bloated.
I’ve been noticing a lot of fluctuations in my mood and anxiety levels.
I’ve had on and off stomach issues.
My skin is dry, itchy, and flaky, despite the massive amount of moisturizing I’ve done.
Seriously, I’ve come out of the bathroom after a shower looking like I tripped and fell in a tub of lard, but nothing has been helping my skin.
Getting on the treadmill, even to walk, seems like it is the hardest thing to do lately.
I honestly thought about hanging a cookie from the ceiling directly in front of the treadmill to get me to walk on it.
Seriously, I had it planned out.
I would hang the cookie, run/walk on the treadmill, and then take a bite of it for my “reward”.
How sad is that???
I did one day of Beachbody’s T25 and felt the effects for a week.
That’s not like me.
Yes, I’ve pounded the water all day long.
I’ve been trying to get more sleep.
(Easier said than done, right?)
What has been working for me isn’t working any more.
I need a break from counting, and I’ve known I need a break for about a month, but I wanted to find something that would keep me on track and propel me forward, not keep me in the same place.
I need something to cleanse the gunk out of my system and get me back to feeling like myself!
A friend from high school posted on her Facebook account that she was starting a new journey as an Arbonne consultant.
For those of you who don’t know, Arbonne is a company that promises to transform lives through:
- botanically based ingredients in scientifically tested products
- a pure, healthy, lifestyle
- the pure joy of helping others
You can click here to browse and learn more about the company.
When I was about 16 years old, my mom bought me some Arbonne facial moisturizer that was wonderful.
My aunt, who lived in Oklahoma at the time, became a consultant and my mom bought some products from her.
Both of us instantly fell in love with the products.
My mother and I used the products and continued to love them until my father passed away when I was 19.
That turned our world upside down, and we set Arbonne aside while we dealt with a major life change.
Fast forward to now when I saw her post, and all the memories came flooding back of the awesome products we used to use.
I contacted her and asked her if they still had my favorite moisturizer, and guess what?!?
She sent me a link to the catalog and while I had the best intent to buy the moisturizer, I spotted a skin care kit that was perfect for my skin issues now.
I purchased the kit and let me tell you….these skin products are AMAZING!
(More on this to come in another post…stay tuned!)
I noticed her posting about 30 day challenges.
She posted before and after pictures and man, she looked good.
Here’s her before and after picture.
The before was taken at day 6 and the after was taken at day 27.
She looks great, right?
Oh, and you know I love you guys, but…I will not be posting any pictures of me on here unless I look like a total hot broad like Krissy.
Right now, I am not a total hot broad.
I asked her how she was feeling and she said she feels the best she has in years.
That’s how I want to feel.
I want to feel AND look the best I’ve looked in years.
I’m a very busy working mom and wife and I need my body in tip-top shape to support my lifestyle.
After doing some research on the company and the products, I truly believe the Arbonne 30 Days to Healthy Living can help me get there.
My anxiety tends to make me get nervous about taking supplements and things I normally wouldn’t consume.
It takes me out of my comfort zone.
But, my comfort zone isn’t doing much for me anymore.
So, to ease my anxiety, of course I did a BUNCH of research on the company and the products that are included in the Arbonne 30 Day Challenge.
Through my research, I’ve found that:
- Arbonne uses the most beneficial ingredients from NATURE – they are the #1 global brand for healthy living, inside and out
- Arbonne promises that their products are PURE and continuously are raising their STANDARDS to find what is pure and EFFECTIVE
- All products are SAFE and NONTOXIC, scientifically TESTED to provide the best of nature and science for great results
- They have a list of 2,000 ingredients that are BANNED from Arbonne products, that reflects their RIGOROUS SCREENING of ingredients
- They promise to be TRANSPARENT and AUTHENTIC
- They constantly challenge every ingredient in EVERY PRODUCT, every day
- Arbonne products are VEGAN, NON GMO, GLUTEN FREE, and SOY FREE
- They are CERTIFIED by the Vegan Society, the Gluten Free Certification Organization, Banned Substances Control Group, GI Labs, Informed Sports, PETA, OU Kosher, Non-GMO Project and Arbonne is the ONLY company to meet all of the criteria for these certifications
- Arbonne is cruelty free and never tests on animals
- MAYO CLINIC completed an independent clinical trial of Arbonne’s 30 day program and the results showed improvement in mental clarity, higher energy and decreased hunger
- Ingredients that conflict with Arbonne’s pure standards of gluten-free, vegan, non-GMO and no artificial flavors or sweeteners are NOT ALLOWED
- Arbonne’s products are dairy-free, whey-free, and do not contain any cholesterol, saturated or trans fats or fillers of any kind
- Ingredients that have high levels of irritation or toxicity, a high allergen content, those that are known to disrupt hormones, cause cancer or have negative consumer press are NOT ALLOWED
- Ingredients that the company hears are being considered by their existing countries as possibly banned in the future are NOT ALLOWED
- Ingredients that are harmful to the environment and have a negative impact on communities are NOT ALLOWED (can I get a social work whoop-whoop???)
All of this information, coupled with the great past experiences I have had with products from this company and fact that someone I know and trust has had amazing results sold me.

I’m starting my 30 day adventure on March 4th.
My plan is to FEEL better by April 4th.
If there is weight loss, I’ll be happy to welcome that as well, but my main concern is removing the trash from my body so I can start to feel healthy inside and out.
Any type of change can be uncomfortable, but like I said…my comfort zone isn’t getting me anywhere right now.
And, this is a GOOD change!
WW is a great program and teaches you how to make better choices while eating, but it doesn’t necessarily filter out the processed foods or have high, strict standards like the ones I’ve listed above.
I checked out a box of my favorite snack crackers that I eat while following the WW lifestyle and it was packed with ingredients I couldn’t pronounce.
No wonder I feel the way I do.
Here are my thoughts.
I can do ANYTHING for 30 days.
30 days is not forever.
If I had started this challenge 30 days ago, would I be struggling with the issues I’m having now?
Most likely, no.
Would I be feeling better about the way I look AND feel?
Why put it off another day?
I can guarantee that if I keep doing what I have been doing, I will get the same results.
I don’t want the same results.
I’m ready for change.
I can do this for 30 days.
After the 30 days, I will know what foods serve my body and just how GOOD I can feel after a nutritional re-balance.
I just can’t wait for my body to be toxin free!
Aside from eating clean foods you purchase at your local grocer, each Arbonne Essentials product lists the ingredients and includes nutrition labels so I could definitely incorporate them into a WW lifestyle by calculating the points.
But…you never know, I may not even need to count points if I stick with the Arbonne lifestyle.
So, what is this 30 day challenge you ask?
It’s officially called Arbonne 30 Days to Healthy Living.
Eliminate common allergens and other ingredients that are known to cause issues.
Eat every 4-6 hours. (I like a plan that tells me to eat more often)
Eat the proper portions.
For 30 days!
You can do anything for 30 days.
The Arbonne Essentials pack will support you during the Arbonne 30 Days to Healthy Living program and beyond.
You can click here to read more about their nutrition products and browse what they have to offer.
Even though we are overfed, we are often lacking vitamins and nutrients, so this is a great thing!
We aren’t what we eat, we are what we absorb, and most of us aren’t absorbing as many nutrients as we need.
Botanical extracts, specific vitamins and minerals, and other unique ingredients help to support daily and targeted needs, such as bone health, immune health, healthy sleep, energy and more, are included in the Essentials pack.
I can’t wait for the package to get here.
I’ve been stalking the tracking number and I just ordered it. (Patience has never been my thing.)
So many people have raved about these shakes and other products, I can’t wait to dive in.
But here’s the thing…I’d love to dive into this program with a few people who also want to look better AND feel better.
I’m looking for some accountability partners – ideally a group of us who can support each other, create a community and stay in contact while we reset our bodies.
Think about where we could be 30 days from now!
It’s only 30 days.
Who wants to join me?
Join me, please!
I need the support.
